ANZ Broker Portal: login, RCTIs, and what to do when it breaks.
If you write ANZ loans you are juggling two portals right now: the legacy ANZ Originator (Broker Distribution) site and the newer ANZ Broker Portal that fronts ANZ Qualify. This guide covers where to log in, what each portal actually does, where your commission RCTIs sit, and the broker-channel issues worth knowing before you next pick up the phone to the BDM.
How to log in to the ANZ broker portal.
The legacy entry point is anz-originator.com.au/brokerdistribution/login. Accredited brokers sign in with their AO-SAO number (or assigned username) and a password. ANZ does not publicly document MFA on this legacy login, so treat the credentials like any other lender secret and rotate them on staff turnover.
ANZ is progressively migrating to the unified ANZ Broker Portal at broker.anz.com, which uses SSO into ANZ Qualify. If your branch has been moved over, you should have received an email invitation and a single password covers application lodgement, pricing, LMI Qualifier and Bridging tools. Until the rollout finishes, expect to bookmark both URLs and use whichever one your BDM points you to for a given workflow.
What brokers actually see inside the portal.
- Application lodgement and tracking through ANZ Qualify (UMI: households, applicants, income, expenses, new loans).
- Pricing requests and escalations with documented SLAs — typically 2-6 business days for assessment depending on complexity.
- LMI Qualifier and Bridging Loan workflows surfaced inside ANZ Qualify.
- Book of business / portfolio view and broker self-service tools (per the ANZ Broker Distribution login site).
- Commission statements accessible to accredited brokers, referenced on the ANZ Broker Distribution login screen.
- Broker support contacts (Residential Broker Managers, National Partnerships Manager) plus Brokerology training and CPD resources.
You will also see the legacy portal's other branding — ANZ Broker Distribution, ANZ Originator, ANZ Qualify, ANZ Broker Portal and ANZ Residential Broker Portal all refer to slices of the same broker channel. The marketing entry point sits at anz.com.au/promo/broker.
Where ANZ RCTIs and commissions actually live.
RCTIs and commission statements are issued under ANZ's originator agreement and surfaced in the legacy ANZ Originator (Broker Distribution) portal under the commissions / book-of-business area. ANZ does not publicly document a direct RCTI download path, and in practice most brokers receive the RCTI via their aggregator — AFG, Connective, Loan Market, Finsure and similar — rather than downloading it from ANZ directly.
If you hold a direct originator agreement and your RCTI is delivered from ANZ rather than aggregated, expect to fetch it from the ANZ Originator portal each month. If you sit behind an aggregator, treat the aggregator statement as the source of truth and only dive into ANZ Originator when a specific loan needs investigating.
The pain points worth flagging.
- Broker satisfaction with ANZ has lagged peers on communication and processing reliability even as turnaround times improved through 2025, per Broker Pulse.
- Recurring login errors into ANZ Qualify are documented as a routine cache/cookie fix in the ANZ Qualify Help Center. Clear site data for the ANZ domain before raising a ticket.
- Historical broker-channel turnaround blow-outs that the MFAA and FBAA publicly called out as unfairly penalising broker-lodged loans vs. proprietary — worth keeping in your escalation paper trail.
- Two parallel portals (legacy ANZ Originator + new ANZ Broker Portal/ANZ Qualify) during the staged rollout, so brokers juggle different URLs and login IDs until the migration completes.
The Getting Started collection in the ANZ Broker Portal Help Center covers the basics of the new SSO experience and is the right first stop for newly invited users.
Reconcile ANZ commissions without logging into the portal.
Most Trail AI users see ANZ commissions flow through their aggregator statement — AFG, Connective, Loan Market, Finsure. Trail AI ingests the aggregator file once and ANZ rows are normalised automatically alongside every other lender. Book balance, missing trail, lender concentration and refinance scoring all just work.
Brokers who hold a direct ANZ originator agreement can drop the ANZ Originator RCTI straight into Trail AI's single-lender upload. The ANZ entry in lender_mappings reconciles each line to the matching loan so you do not pay twice for the same dataset.
