Bankwest Broker Portal, explained for 2026.
If you write Bankwest loans, you already know the portal is split across a few subdomains and that commission paperwork lives somewhere else entirely. This is the short, accurate version: where to log in, what is actually inside, where Bankwest RCTIs live, and how Trail AI reconciles your Bankwest trail without you needing to log in at all.
The canonical Bankwest broker login URL.
The Bankwest Broker Portal is fronted at bankwest.com.au/brokers, but the actual sign-in screen lives at identity.ibs.bankwest.com.au/TokenService/broker/login. Use the Bankwest-issued user ID and password you set up at accreditation.
Password reset requires your user ID plus the mobile number Bankwest has on file. The public help centre does not document any TOTP or authenticator-app 2FA beyond that mobile-based recovery flow, so if your mobile is out of date you will need the Mortgage Support Team to reset your accreditation contact details first. Bankwest publishes a dedicated Broker Portal password troubleshooting PDF in the help centre.
What Bankwest brokers see after login.
The portal is built around in-flight applications, not your back-book. Six tools do the heavy lifting:
- Application Tracker. Single view of every in-flight home loan application with status updates.
- DocBox. Secure document exchange for uploading supporting docs against a specific application.
- Digital ID. Initiate and oversee online identity verification for your customers.
- Digital Signing. Send contracts for electronic signature to keep deals moving.
- Pricing Tool. Real-time pricing requests and indicative rates for clients.
- Valuations & Product/Policy search. Order upfront valuations and look up current product and policy info.
RCTIs are not in the portal — here is where they actually are.
This is the single biggest source of confusion. Bankwest does not surface Recipient-Created Tax Invoices inside the public Broker Portal — there is no commissions tab. Commission and RCTI documents for Bankwest deals are delivered through your aggregator statement (AFG, Connective, LMG and so on) rather than via a Bankwest-branded tile.
Brokers paid directly by Bankwest, or anyone who needs a Bankwest-issued RCTI for a specific loan, request it via the Mortgage Support Team or their aggregator BDM. Build that into your month-end process so a missing RCTI does not slip past the end of the BAS quarter.
Three things that trip Bankwest brokers up.
- Commission and RCTI documents are not exposed in the portal itself — brokers chase them via aggregator statements or the Mortgage Support Team.
- Multiple login surfaces (brokers.bankwest.com.au, sonic.bankwest.com.au/HomeLendingPortalContainer, identity.ibs.bankwest.com.au) cause confusion about the canonical entry point — Bankwest ships a dedicated troubleshooting PDF for exactly this reason.
- Password reset depends on the mobile number on file being current, which trips up brokers who have not updated their accreditation details.
You do not need to log in to the portal to reconcile Bankwest trail.
For most brokers, Bankwest commission data reaches Trail AI through your aggregator statement (AFG, Connective, LMG), so no extra work is needed — Trail AI's aggregator parsers already break out Bankwest loans line-by-line. New, lost, and missing-trail rows for Bankwest deals appear alongside every other lender on your dashboard.
Brokers paid directly by Bankwest, or anyone who wants Bankwest-issued RCTIs reconciled separately, can upload the Bankwest RCTI PDF through the single-lender upload flow. The seeded Bankwest lender_mappings entry handles extraction deterministically — no AI fallback needed, no hand-correction.
