Connective Mercury Nexus, explained for 2026.

If you write loans through Connective, Mercury Nexus is the CRM, the lodgement workbench and the commissions portal in one. This is the short, accurate version: where to log in, what is inside, where Comm.Statements actually live (and why they sit in Interim for part of the month), and how Trail AI reconciles every lender on your book from one Connective statement.

Where to log in

The canonical Mercury Nexus login URL.

Mercury Nexus is fronted at connective.com.au/mercury-nexus, but the actual sign-in screen lives at login.connective.com.au. You sign in with your Connective ID plus email, then complete an SMS verification code as the second factor. There is no SSO option, and the login screen explicitly recommends Chrome for the best Mercury Nexus experience.

Password reset includes a partner-group confirmation step tied to your role-based access — brokers in multiple Connective groups must nominate which one they are recovering against. Keep your mobile current; SMS is the only documented second factor.

What is inside

What Connective brokers see after login.

Mercury Nexus bundles the CRM, application lodgement, compliance and commissions into one workspace. The modules that matter day-to-day:

  • Mercury CRM. Client records with branded SMS and email, plus the Client Centre portal for secure document collection.
  • Apply Online + LoanApp. Lodge applications and track every lender decision from one approval dashboard.
  • Commissions app. Comm.Statements panel with monthly Interim and Final RCTI PDFs once access is granted via the Admin App.
  • Compliance Centre. Built-in checklists, note templates and compliance commentary scoped to each deal.
  • Research tools. Borrowing capacity calculators, product comparison and lender policy lookup, augmented by Connective AI.
  • Sales analytics + Financial Passport. Performance benchmarking and open-banking client financials inside the CRM.
Where Connective RCTIs live

Comm.Statements — inside the Commissions app, gated by the Admin App.

Inside Mercury Nexus, open the Commissions app and select Comm.Statements in the left-hand panel. That is where the monthly RCTI and commission statement PDFs sit. Access must first be granted to the broker through the Admin App — brokers without admin rights cannot self-serve.

Statements show as Interim until Connective finishes the monthly run, at which point they flip to Final. You cannot generate a Final RCTI until then — Connective runs one month in arrears — so plan month-end around that, not the Interim figures that will move.

Common issues

Three things that trip Connective brokers up.

  • Commissions access is gated behind Admin App permissions, so brokers without admin rights cannot self-serve their own RCTIs (per the Connective Wiki).
  • Statements sit in Interim status until Connective finalises the monthly run, blocking same-month reconciliation (per the Connective Wiki).
  • Connective’s own 2025 roadmap centres on reducing admin burden — an implicit acknowledgement that brokers were spending too much time inside Mercury chasing data (per Australian Broker News).
How Trail AI uses Connective Mercury data

One Connective statement. Every lender reconciled in one pass.

Connective is one of the three aggregators Trail AI ingests natively. The cleanest workflow is to export your consolidated Connective commission statement — the Final RCTI PDF or CSV from Mercury Nexus → Commissions → Comm.Statements — and drop it straight into Trail AI. Every lender on your book reconciles in one pass, with no per-lender RCTI required.

Brokers who only want a single lender's figures isolated can still use the single-lender upload flow against the matching lender_mappings entry. New, lost and missing-trail rows appear with named clients and balances, and refinance candidates are scored 0–100 with one-paragraph reasoning per loan.

Reconcile every lender from one Connective statement.

Upload your latest Comm.Statement Final RCTI. Trail AI breaks it out by lender, flags missing trail and ranks refinance candidates by client — same day, 7-day trial, no card.
